I been working at one retail store for a year now and currently got hired at another retail store. I was wondering if there is anything by law that does not allow me to work at both stores.They are both clothing stores. One sells men and women clothing and the other sells only women clothing. They there both in the same mall. Where I live there is only one mall...

There's probably not a law about it, but you should ask the employers whether they have a problem with it, they might have a no-compete policy.

Check your contract...you probably are not allowed to work for conflicting retailers like Gap and Hollister or Bath and Body and The Body Shop...But if they are unrelated like Gap and a Furnature store than there is usally no problem...

Most employers won't let you work in another establishment that sells the same type of merchandise they do. Better check with both employers on this.

There is certainly no legal prohibition about working both places. And unless one of the employers had you sign something that you wouldn't work for a competitor, neither of them should have a problem with it.

There is no law against it but your employer may have something in your contract about "intellectual property" because they would be worried about you giving away "trade secrets."

You would be wise to discuss the situation with both managers.

if they are not competing may be ok you may end up getting more work to keep you. best to ask be up front..
