I have finished three years of school at UCONN, with one year to go. I took the last year off because I cant quite afford to finish right now. I am looking for a reputable job, as working as a waitress just doesn't cut it right now. I studied Human Development and Family studies, but I would definitely be willing to try a typical "office/admin" job just to start. Any suggestions of where to begin looking for a new job, other than the paper? I live in Boston, MA, if that helps. Thanks!

Try a temp agency. I know it sounds like scraping the bottom of the barrell, but they're really good at finding placement, or at least with earning a person some good experience.

check out a temporary agency like Apple One. You should never have to pay a fee-the agency gets paid by the employer to find employees for positions, rather than running ads and all that.

They helped me get an office job that Ive been at for 5 years. They help you get your resume together a bit too, as well as set up interviews for you...good luck!!
