I say you choose the job closer to home; you will stay up to date on the newest technology which in turn will help you become a tech at a later date if you so choose. Besides the $1.50 you earn at circut city will not cover your gas back and forth to work on top of any traffic you may run in to.

I would choose the one WHICH requires the least amount of spelling. j/k ... sorry, it happens to the best of us.
Anyway .. I would choose the one that offers the best potential for growth ... Sales for Staples is going to require you help unload the semi's when new merchandise arrives. On the other hand, Staples as a company is probably more stable than Circuit City.
Best of luck.

In the short-term, a PC tech has the best potential. But, long term, sales positions/experience pay very well. You can make far more money in sales than you can in PC repair.

I staying about one hour from my current employment and it sucks but it's OK since the pay is good. so, as what people here say " getting old on the way to the office", chose workplace nearest to your home.

I suggest the PC Tech position....................that might offer greater exposure and more growth potential.
