is it likely that I can still be considered for a future position if I apply again, or did I basically burn the bridge by doing that?

I turned down a position for a great job but I felt the time wasn't right for me to be with them because of their location, and distance to family, etc. I'm wondering if I still have a chance with them when my situation to work for them is better.

I work as a nurse's aide. And I just started doing it. I started my job at a nursing home almost 3 weeks ago and they treat me like a toddler. My bosses even yell at me. And I want to leave, but when you apply somewhere they always ask your reason for leaving. What should I say when I don't hate the job, just the people I work for?

After finding out that I had a long term serious illness, coming back to work I was bullied and victimised. My line manager knew this and I told her several times over 18 months things had deteriated and I needed to be moved. It took me to be on my knees and threatening to go off sick to be moved. Mean while I was over looked for a new position and it was offered to someone under rank. Now I am expected to work under this person(who definately doesnt want me there because I initially got a job which she also went for) with the lower rank and with less experience. I have also found out that my line manager has been discussing me with this person about my situation before she has spoken to me. Feel victimised betrayed, under valued, have lost all confidence and a fight for my rights seems all that is left as an option. (I am in management) although you would never know it.! Feel like giving up. all my work for my degree to help others seems a waste of time.

This will be my third interveiw with the company. I have had to meet many people. I think this is the last.

I am concerned that they are going to make an offer lower than I can accept. Can you suggest any ways to negotiate and when you bring it up.

I was reading a Monster.com article on depression in the workplace (http://content.monster.com/articles/3512/17171/1/home.aspx?WT.mc_n=MNL000283) and teh final Quote was "a job is a privilege" it made me think and I wondered how many would agree with this statement.

I have to pick up my baby up from day care. I do not mind working from as ealy as 6:30 to 4:30. I will be professional at my work place and not make the "I have a baby excuse" to miss deadlines. How should I tell my new employer about my work schedule. I have seen in my previous companies that mothers left early from work but got in early. None of the employers seem to have a problem.
Please help me.,

If someone is fired for putting "no" on their application for convictions of a felony or misdemeanor and the background results come back as "yes" for 2 misdemeanors but...1. The District Justice clarifies that only 1 is a misdemeanor after you speak with him. 2. You weren't sure so you asked your friend in Human Resources and after hearing everything you tell them about it they advise you to put "no" 3. You tell them that your friend in Human Resources advised you to put "no" but now your friend denies it 4. You have a taped phone confession of you and your friend where they admit they advised you 5. The background results they received are inaccurate yet still 1 misdemeanor shows up even though you weren't sure it was even a misdemeanor to begin with

I have a resume on Word and when I tell SBCGlobal to email it, something gets screwed up and the person at the other end sees a mess! The email program has all sorts of fun with the traditional format. So, I need to configure an email-ready resume. Trouble is: I have no idea what one of those looks like. I've trolled around the net, can find all sorts of resumes, but nothing for emails! Help!

it's neither a get-rich-quick scheme nor a scam, but the opportunity that I am offering u can make you tons. There's 3 ways you can make money with this system.
1-retailing (with no need to be a salesperson)
2-sponsoring
3-royalties.
As long as you're ready to put the effort in, it works... Just has to remember that you get out what you put in. I signed up 3 months ago, in my 1st month I made £236 (I can give you proof of this), my sponsor, who joined 7yrs ago, now makes £4000, his sister who joined just 2 yrs before him now makes £9000, the top earner in our team, who joined 14yrs ago makes £60 000 a month!!(I can give you proof of all of this!!) it's an opportunity where you're the only one deciding on how much you want to earn..The company, who's been around for 84yrs also offers great incentives such as all expenses paid luxury trips to exotic locations, cars, cash...If interested in joining, I'm looking for 2 good ppl to join me, don't hesitate to get ur free info pack today!!

I've been at my job for just over 3 months now. This company is pretty big (over 50 employees). I just found out i was pregnant like a month ago and now I am 11 weeks pregnant. I did my research for Maternity leave and found out that I don't think im protected under the law cuz when the baby is born, I'll only have been working here for 10-11 months. What do I do? I have health insurance now (I need it!!) and disability insurance (short and long term) and plan on saving my 40hrs vacation and 40hrs personal till I am due. I haven't even told my boss yet (I'm afraid of getting let go). My boss has only been here for 6 months, so she never had anyone go thru this, and since Im only 19, I'm afraid she'll think Im naive (which Im NOT!).

Hello, This is my first question on here, I just want to ask, I have trained to be a graphic and web designer for about 6 years now, and about 4 years before that in school and stuff, after I finished my college courses and all other learning I got the job I've got now.
In my current job I work as a webmaster for a shop in warwick and I was just wondering if you guys thought I was being stupid getting this pissed with it, all I seam to do all day in re-name 2000 images switching lower case letters for upper case ones. I just feel like there has gotta be a better job than this, I've trained, done my time, and I get lumbered with this for some reason. I hope I have explained this properly, but I have the skills to make full size corporate websites, and I have my own company in the background which I am trying to make work, I don't understand why the people who employ me now only give me jobs like "re-name 2000 images" it doesn't seam reasonable.
