Well, like any job, experience will always be a measure for employers as well as good references. However, many hotel groups will want someone with good business acumen. Which could mean qualifications in hospitality management through to an MBA. If you look for colleges who have a good range of courses in this fiedl, they should be able to advise. well a business management qualification would help. Or there's a hospitality management one out there or even leisure and tourism.

Or you could get a job as a assistant and work your way up
