I need to leave early at 3:30 pm tomorrow, but my boss said, I/We will try our best!! Okay, I my sisters and brothers are home at 3 and my mom has to go to the hospital to take care of my grandpa. So, my other co-worker said, "I don't know, you have to ask Mrs. Vali, we are short on people, you cannot leave. "I was like, so, I am going to do what I have to do, ****." It it not my fault that 7 people only work here when there should be 10-12 people working. I need to leave. So, I was wondering if I can do that, because today I did it and my boss did let me go and before I left today I told her that I will have to leave early the rest of this week. Also, my shift is from 7:30 to 5, before to five, but I just started that shift last Wednsday and I been clocking out till 6:30. I am not supposed to closed, but I am, WHY? Because there is not enough STAFF at the DAYCARE??

PLEASE SOME ADVICE!!!!!!!!1

I have the opportunity to work at a sports bar or a steakhouse. It seems like I will make more money at the steakhouse because it is nicer. However, I know when people are drinking, they tend to tip more. I work at Applebee's right now. Which one will I make more money at?

I'm going to be starting a 11pm-7am job at a hotel next Friday. My days will be Thurs, Fri, Sat, Sun. The real challenge is that I have two girls, 5 and 3 that haven't started school yet. My husband works from 6:30 am until 6 pm Monday-Thursday. Most days he will be home to take care of the girls, and I figure I'll sleep from about 8am-4pm. What should I do about sleep on Mondays? What about my days off? I'm trying to plan it, so I can spend as much time as possible with my husband and daughters, but get a decent amount of sleep, so I don't "burn out". Anybody have any advice? Thanks!

I have seen many companies that colllect a fee to join (scam?), but am looking to find someone out there who is ACTUALLY doing it so I can avoid the scam and receive real information.

I work at a clothing store and somtimes people just get on my nerves SO badly. Its not that they are being particularly rude or annoying ( well some of them are) but I just feel like everyone bugs me for some reason.

Please don't answer unless you work in customer service and understand what I mean.

I'm not rude to customers at all, I'm the buyer for the store so I am always friendly and professional.

But sometimes people just get to my nerves! How do I deal with it and have a good day at work?

Thank you!!

I'm getting married in the fall and I will be moving an hour away. I don't get paid enough to travel the extra time, so I know I'll have to quit. I think this is also something my boss suspects. When should I tell him I'm leaving? Do I just wait until 2 weeks before or do I tell him now and give him time to look around for a replacement? Should I fear being replaced before I move?
