In the US - 4 year undergraduate 4 years medical school - 3 years residency- followed by 2-3 years of specialization training and then another residency - to be successful give up living for anything but getting onto med school

From first day ofundergraduate studies, to completion of plastic and reconstructive surgery residency, about 17 years, yes, 17.

Mucho schooling, mucho selling your services to vain people. You better be a beautiful person becasue nobody will get plastic surgery from someone who isn't beautiful.
