Poor comments left by seller, possible fraud.

If you make no attempt to communicate with the sellers, you will more than likely receive negative feedback and a "non-paying strike" against you after they go through the unpaid item process. Future sellers will have access to this and will more than likely not sell you anything as they will view you as a liability.

I recommend you contact the sellers and explain your reason for not paying; although they are not forced to, some may allow you to be released from the transaction and cancel the bid. In the future, be careful and do not bid on items that you do not plan on paying for because it is a legally binding contract.

I'm not sure if there are legal avenues available to the seller or to eBay, but according to their policies (to which you agreed by signing up as a buyer):

Buyers automatically enter into a legally binding contract to purchase the item from the seller if they win the auction-style listing or use the Buy It Now feature. eBay's Unpaid Item policy requires buyers to pay for the items that they commit to purchase. eBay will take action against buyers who do not pay for items they have won.

eBay will issue a strike on the account of the buyer who does not honor their obligation to pay. If a buyer gets too many strikes in too short a time period, their account will be suspended indefinitely.

I don't know what the worst that can happen would be, but odds are you'll evenually not be able to buy anything on eBay!

Oh, and you'll probably roast in hell for being a dishonest person...

The worst? Banned from eBay and locked out of your PayPal account.

In theory, the seller could sue you for Specific Performance and if successful, force you to complete the purchase. That has happened on a few high-value items in the past.

you're making the sellers offended, they offer you with unfavorable rankings and record you to Ebay. unfavorable factors means that different sellers have the alternative of no longer promoting to you in case you bid on something. Do it adequate time and also you'll get suspended or banned. i ought to envision Ebays TOS (words of provider) formerly I do something like reneging on your contract. it truly is truly no longer too quick.

Besides the things the first two mentioned, you can be taken to small claims court for the cost of items. You are reneging on a contract. I have a friend who had to do this, and he won.

they will go after you. why did you not pay? did you receive the items. If so, you are a thief, plain and simple. You should be ashamed of yourself.
