Hahaha! You americans are like little squirming maggots compared to our race of Asian superhumans! Soon, we will conquer the pathetic inferior ensemble that you morons attempt to pass off as an actual race, and you won't even see it coming!

P.S. George Bush?!... what were you thinking?

I have a small amount of college education, not quite an associates degree, and am unable to return to college at this time (seriously) - I have a lot of customer service experience, and am generally a happy person. I can type pretty well, have decent language skills, and learn fast.

Currently, I work in a very miserable bakery - a successful bakery, but it's a very unpleasant place. I've been there for close to 3 years, and I don't think I can stand working there much longer. I live in upstate NY, and I took a civil service exam, sent out a bunch of forms, and got no response from any of the agencies.

Any advice on what I could do with my life (besides marry a really old, rich guy - I'm in a very happy relationship, I just don't know where to go with regards to a job)? Thanks for reading this question. :)

The main problem that I'm having is: How do you spell "resignition"? Did I spell it right or is that even a word? I'd like to write: "I herby announce my Resignition effective in two weeks. This is my two weeks notice of my self termination from this company." The last time I quit a job, I just left, now I respect the company that I've worked for and would like to leave the right way. I found a higher paying job. Can anyone help me with this?

I've been working for a few years with the same company. My direct supervisor has just been amazing. She kind of reminds me of the tough but fair schoolteachers we remember fondly from grade school. She always expects my best work performance, but if I need anything special, like extra days off or a more comfortable chair or even a smile, she provides it immediately.

I would love to do something to really show her how much I appreciate everything she does. At the same time, I don't want to seem like a brown-noser.

Our relationship is based entirely in the office; we never hang out during work hours. I wouldn't feel comfortable taking her out for a meal or anything like that. Any ideas on a memorable way to say Thanks?

Around 12 this afternoon i went to use my card at the hairdresser it declined well i knew i had plenty to cover it so I went to the atm to withdraw and same thing so I called Rush customer service and either it would hang up, say busy circuit, or nothing at all. so finally round 2pm got through to a repesentative who said it should be working in a hour. well its 9pm and still nothing shaking. They still wont answer their phone and at 6pm they posted something on their website saying that they're working on it. Anybody else experiencing this?

If you are getting payed to do the job, howcome you need to pay to get started?
Isn't there anything out there where there is no fee? I've been told if the company is legitimate, that they shouldn't ask for money from you

I have always wanted to travel and this year I will be 21 and I wanted to do something different for once. I want to move to London and work their. I can really gain a different experience by living and working and visiting London all together. I'm young and I’m ready to experience life at its fullest I’m an inspiring script writer all I know is what is here in California I’m not closed minded but very open to new things I just want something else then what I already have. I was thinking of just staying for the summer or 3 months but depending how everything goes I may stay longer. But I need to know what I need to do to make this happen. What do I need I know I need a work visa and entry clearance but how do I go about doing this. I am an American Citizen born and raised in California I’m 20 years old I’ll be 21 late next month. Anyone who can give me detail as to what I should do would help me so much. I'm Not a student but i have experience in Hospitality. what documents do i need?

I just got hired by a company as a 1099 contractor. I wanted to find out what the difference in what they are paying me as a contractor as opposed to hiring me direct. What taxes will I owe above what I would have paid as an employee? I can think of a few examples like 1/2 of the social security and all unemployment taxes, but I have no idea of how much I will be charged as opposed to how much the employer usually splits with me if I was a full-time employee. What my question boils down to is, what is my "real" wage after the taxes that I would not have had to pay if I were an employee? I live in Michigan and make $25 and hour.

showed no appreciation for all the hard work you put in to a short staffed day. I'm a recovery assistant that works my tail off for 1 doctor out of 2. A lot of the times the other doctors recovery assistant takes time off on the busiest days and leaves me to pull all of her weight too. Today was one of those days. I did the work of 2 people's jobs and sighed at one point. He then pulled me aside and told me he didn't want to hear me "exhasperate". How would you handle that?

I'm 15, 16 in 2 months. Can I apply for a job yet? Or even though I've got my NI number, I still have to wait until 16? A lot of the application forms don't ask you to state an exact date of birth, they just ask for you to tick a box which states over 16, etc.

Any advice?
