I'm 15, 16 in 2 months. Can I apply for a job yet? Or even though I've got my NI number, I still have to wait until 16? A lot of the application forms don't ask you to state an exact date of birth, they just ask for you to tick a box which states over 16, etc.

Any advice?

You do get your number early. its so you have it all ready so you can apply to work the 1st day you turn 16 and dont have to wait.

If you're 16 years old and have left school then you can apply for a full-time job my friend.

Wouldn't think you cant apply for a job, as long as you dont actually start work before your birthday.
