Is there really a difference? Does an M.D get paid more than a D.O? ...

Or do they almost get paid the same?
Or No difference?

No difference. Both are licensed to practice medicine, prescribe medications, and contract directly with insurers such as Blue Cross, Medicare, Medicaid.

I would guess no difference. I'm sure it depends what kind of medical organization you work for.

I take my son to see a d.o. who is independet and we pay $140 a visit. I only pay a $15 co-pay for my m.d. but I don't know how much the insurance company pays him.

You should make your decision on which to pursue based on which methodology is more in keeping with your beliefs about health and wellness.

About 100 years ago, there was a difference, but now, no.

A DO went to a school of Osteopathic Medicine, and MD went to a medical school.

No different than one college awarding a BS in History and another offering a BA in History.
