The main problem that I'm having is: How do you spell "resignition"? Did I spell it right or is that even a word? I'd like to write: "I herby announce my Resignition effective in two weeks. This is my two weeks notice of my self termination from this company." The last time I quit a job, I just left, now I respect the company that I've worked for and would like to leave the right way. I found a higher paying job. Can anyone help me with this?

Only write the following two things

* The fact that you are leaving and date when your resignation is effective.
* Thanks to your employer for the opportunities you have had during your employment.

Stay positive (even if you are lying) and write NOTHING negative (even if it's true)

It's resignation.

I would add more to your letter, saying that you enjoyed working at the company. Since you say you respect the company, show them how much you respect them. You don't want to leave on bad terms with the company.

Zyzzx is right. Short and to the point.
And keep a copy for yourself.
