I needed a job when I graduated from college. I was very angry I took a job with a lot of responsibilities, more then someone with years of experience, except I would be paid minimum wage. I needed a job, and they convinced me to see it as investment because I would gain experience. But after a year of working hard, and making very little money, I quit. I then began my cycle of going to through 9 jobs. Quitting as soon as someone offered me more money. Even though I’ve gone through many jobs, I’ve always done such a good job on every one, I keep getting job offers. Right now I’m making what a college graduate should make, but I think I’m doing an even better job than the rest, so I want more money. I quit on December, but I was promised a raise, so I stayed. It’s March, and I still have no raise, I do have another job offering more money. Why should I stay with a company that doesn’t pay their employees what they are worth?

Started working in a care home when I was 15,holidays and weekends, and I'm still there! I've done other stuff-bar work, admin, telesales, childcare-both as a nanny and in nurseries-but I keep going back to the care home.I just don't have the qualifications or experience to do anything else, but I can't face another 18 years of it. It's not the work, it's the stress-too many women, too many opinions, far too much bitching and back stabbing. I'm almost 34-any ideas?

Some input by anyone that is or has been involved in the hiring process when it included the submission of a resume would be greatly appreciated. I am recently retired from the military and am living and working in Germany as a Personal Trainer. I'm doing very well being self employed but am strongly considering putting myself on the market and sending out a bunch of resume's to the many spa's and health club's located in the Southern Germany, Austrian, and Swizterland area's. I speak great conversational and business German, having spent many years stationed here and being married to a German woman. Many German's with whom I speak have no idea that I am not German and my son's, who are in their 20's and have never left Germany say I speak German very well but if they didn't know me would think that I am just less than fully educated. Should I have a translator type up my resume and explain the circumstances during the interview or should I just do it myself?

My very first paying job was loading hay onto a wagon in rural Kentucky. I made 2$ for 4 hours of work (50 cents an hour). 1965, I was 8 at the time.

When and what did you do and what were you paid.

I was severely injured 10 years ago, and have been through countless procedures therapy and surgery. I had my final surgery 7 months ago, that left me with a back full of screws, rods and cages. The Doc bumped my sciatic nerve, and I was left with no feeling and limited use of my left leg. I understood the risks of the surgery, and I am not going to sue. These things just happen sometimes, and not anyone's fault. I am able to walk with a cane, but when employers see this, they suddenly decide that the job has already been filled. I know some people are happy to sit home and collect a paycheck, but that is not me. I've always enjoyed working, and my usual jobs were construction and warehouse. I've been using the paper and monster.com constantly for 2 months now, and nothing. I also recently enrolled in online college to get my degree in information systems technology. Can anyone else think of something I've missed? Any information will be greatly appreciated!
Thanks.

Which way should a business owner approach his/her employees? for the best of the company. If you intimidate them I feel like they are always going to be afraid of doing something wrong and you're always going to be look as the mean, not friendly boss, and in the other way if I get closer to them they might get sloppy and not do their best.
