Actually, there is not a company in the country who would dare make that statement to you for fear of being sued. The personel depts. know exactly what to say and stay out of trouble. However, if you would learn to type and spell it would probably help you. If YOU think you are too childish, try to use it for your good and be a clown. Anyone can work. The golden arches pay $10 an hour. That is work. Good Luck and God Bless

You need to think professional, serious and come across responsible in your interviews. Make sure your applications are complete, correct and without any misspellings. No im abbreviations. During the interview always be thinking about grammar and how you are speaking, slang is not proper in such situations. If you need with this you should be able to find evening classes or community centers that will help out with job training and placement.

There are many factors involved hiring a person for example:
1. Your legal age ( your request for help sounds like a maturity problem.)
2. Your Intelligence Quotient or aptitude must be adjusted for what you are capable of doing. (public appearance, ability to converse with people, manual dexterity---- can you work with hands, etc.)
3. Does the work you are looking for fit your personal experiences?
4. Educational level also enters into the job significantly. For example, can you read and write?
You must evaluate yourself and adjust accordingly.

Get a grip. This is the real world. You WILL get rejected for jobs. Keep trying. If you're not qualified, find out why (ask them), and change it. Not to be offensive, but learning to type correctly does help.

You're not interviewing well if they are saying you are too childish.
Go to an employment help center - many non profits offer help in interviewing techniques as does your local Unemployment Office.

wtf?
No employer is going to say you aren't fit for the job and that you're childish, regardless of how crappy your interview might have went.
If you want to impress an employer that you're a competent choice, a good place to start is by learning to tell the truth and get the facts straight without exagerating and dramatizing everything to hell and back like you have here.
