If it came down to picking a job tell me what you would choose to be. Either a Elementary or Middle School Teacher or a Television News Reporter or Anchor. And tell me why you chose that. Thanks!

I appreciate if anybody could give me a gestimate of how much it costs to hire a live-in babysitter in a big city like Boston. I have heard two stories: 1) the live-in price is not that much different from live-out price2) the live-in price is usually very low , say one-fourth of that of live-out.
Thanks

I took a police officer employment test last week.. got my results but there was a wrong letter in my envelope. I called the training officer and he said everyone that didn't get hired received a wrong letter, as the Captain put wrong letters out, not paying attention.

Basically, I'm upset about it, but what kind of department would do this? Did they not really care about those who weren't getting hired?

I have tried the obvious options i.e. job sites like fish4.co.uk and jobcentreplus.co.uk, but can't find any help to get me either abroad or on an oil rig to do this work. I'm trying to find a job that pays more money.

Employment records such as the name of the clerks or cashiers of the store as well as their dates of service? It sounds like a dumb question and it may be, but I'm curious.

My coworkers seem to have an issue with me, and as we work in healthcare, we work closely together. The other day a person from another shift said something about how I shouldn't be looking forward to working with them, seeing as I hate all of them.... it's not true and I know the place that I work, rumors spread quickly and words are twisted. I managed to mumble back something about not hating them, but I hate confrontation and being caught off guard. ... what should I do? I'm actually nervous about going to work tonight!

I m currently looking for a job. I m under F-1 visa. I've applied for my Opional Practical Training(OPT) and its good for one year. If i can get a job within 1 year, i will have to apply for the H-1 visa.
Now, i've seen many job descriptions saying they only want applicants who can work in the us WITHOUT SPONSORSHIP. Do they mean they are avoiding people like me?
Also, since i m on OPT, i practically need no sponsorship for this one year. Should i still go ahead and apply for those jobs?

I'm currently taking Pharmacy Assistant at a Home Correspondence college. My boyfriend is bugging me if after I complete the course will it be sufficient enough to begin working as a P.A. I'm not going to get a Degree but a Diploma from this college. I also have a Nursing Assistant Diploma from the same school. What my Boyfriend wants to know is what are the requirements to work as a Pharmacy Assistant ? Do you need a actual College Degree, A State License, ??? I don't really study at this school with plans to work in the field. I just wanna continue my education and just doing it for personal achievement. I'm disabled and I know I cannot work at all. So I'm asking this question more for my Boyfriend so he'll quit bugging me about it. What are the requirements to work as Pharmacy Assistant besides Experience. Do you need a State License ? Actual College Degree ? ... Etc. Etc.
