I've never been or visited Tennessee. I have a trip coming up for my first "tour". I have an excellent employment offer and I need to decide whether or not to move the family. My primary concern is the school system, Elementary and Junior High. I appreciate the input, thanks!

I like the place where I work, I like the people, I like going to work there, it is low stress but the pay is low. I have had a few job offers that pay at least 50% more, but will have significantly more stress. Would you stay at the job you like or move on to the better paying job? My current company does not pay well nor does it give good raises.

I have two children ages 21 and 27 who have never had to work before due to having received money from an accident settlement a few years ago. They suddenly find themselves unable to get hired for even entry level positions, they just want the basic $8 an hour unskilled labor job nothing fancy but without the work references that most young people get in their teens and early twenties they are having no luck getting hired anywhere. Anyone have any suggestions? What do they write on the job applications under previous employment? You cannot really write none or leave it blank. What kinds of places should they be applying at that will hire people without a work history?

I work part time, and have been with the same company for 4 years. I need to leave straight away, i am meant to give 4 weeks notice. I have got a job that i have to start straight away, but i dont want to tell my current job this. What can i say why i want to leave immediatley, and where will i stand with my pay, will they have to pay me for the last month as i would be braking the contract.

I make good money for my area but my boss is really unreasonable.She curses at me and tells me if I get called on my day off I need to go out get in @#$% car and be there in ten minutes not two hours like last time.Well it was my day off and I was sleeping and doing laundry.I worked till almost 4 am and she called me at 9am so it took me a little while.She also said she doesnt care if im tired .I havent got more than 4 hours sleep at a time in a week.Now she says on my day off Im to call in and ask if they need help! Also if I dont come when she calls Im fired.I work really hard everynight and to do my shift and help out once in a while is one thing but to be cursed out and basically told we own you?Sometimes on my day off I want to go somewhere with my family.Is this typical treatment of salaried employees and what should I do?
