I am the RN manager where I work I am the Newbie (almost 2 years) I work with mostly CNA's and dietary people. Today there was a mass revolt over taking VS. I ended up calling my manager and she came in. According to her I spend to much time socializing with pt.s and familys. ( I do spend alot of time with familys but thats part of my job.) I also spend to much time on the phone and sitting in the back room on the computer. I probably have about 50 phone calls a day all work related. I do all my charting on the computer. Anyway the staff says I don't support them and they "have no respect for me." I do alot of their jobs that they don't see because they are in another room. . I am very sick and need to reduce my stress. I get along well with the night staff and they seem to like me. I have worked enough nights with them to know we can work together. Would I be better off taking the night shift opening or looking for a new job. There's a Great benefit package which I need

My significant other's company is going through some major reorganization right now, and he fears he may lose his job in the next little while. Ever since this issue arose, we have stopped planning for a future (stopped even talking about the future) because everything is so uncertain. Is this normal? How do I help him get through this? And how do I deal with my own insecurity about the future?

I'd like some information on this subject because anyone can claim to be a literary agent. I don't want to find myself going through that hassle of frauds as a writer, so if I could represent myself and others it would save me and countless others from dealing with situations of fraud.

Considering a career in accounting and would like to know what people perceive as an ideal candidate for accounting and also would love to hear from actual accounts. Why do you love your job? Why did you pick it? What drew you to decide this was a career for you? I appreciate and than you in advance for your time.

So I really need help doing a resume. For the past 6-7 years, I have held a lot of temp jobs, and a few short term regular jobs. This is REALLY affecting me getting a real job. I either hear nothing back, or I don't even get any response to my resume at all! I have never even wanted to be a temp....but since I can't find a real job...I always have to just give up after a few months and take the temp assignment.

HOW SHOULD I LIST THESE JOBS, INCLUDING BIG LAPSES IN EMPLOYMENT WHEN I WAS MOVING AROUND OR IN SCHOOL??? I have showed my resume to people I know that are good at resumes, and they saw it looks terrible!!

IF SOMEONE COULD EVEN SHOW ME AN EXAMPLE...I WOULD BE SO PLEASED!! THANKS!!!

Ok, im 15, but if i wanted to know if its possible to get a job at a vets office? I get my license in a couple months, and a vet lives really close by me around the corner, but i was wondering if they hired regular people? not just vets. Im really good with animals, exotic&domestic, I have been raised with them, and taken care of every kind of animal that you can think of like, elephants, lions, tigers, bears, dogs, cats, birds, snakes, monkeys, lemars, squirrels, kangaroos, ect ect ect ect., the list goes on forever... . My familey works in the circus, but right now im home going to school, bc my mom always wants us 2 have an option of staying home,or going on the road. So i was just wondering. I cant explain to you guys on how much i know about animals. Adults call me all the time and ask for my advice, and help. Also every few weeks I go work for my godmother who owns circuses and zoos. And she makes me work with the exotics bc i know so much. And i really want to work for a vet!

Would like to hear from people that are thinking about it and also people who may already do this as a career. I realize there are many variables in accounting to pursue but I would love to hear why people are considering it as a career and also why people may enjoy it as a career. Also how flexible of a career is it. Can one branch out into to many industries and does it have opportunities for someone who would like to work independantly.
Thanks for your time. Tereka

In the Saturday (March 3, 2007) edition of the Detroit News Business Section (Front page) there is a face article saying that more blacks are losing jobs in an industry of plant closure and cuts-and that the old plants are moving to white locations. The fact of the matter is that the Auto Industry has GROWN across the country bringing new jobs to new regions. In the industry that i work in , and many others, it is the blacks who do the most complaining about everything (extra tasks, extra personal efforts, for example). Those individuals who do "PUT OUT" on their job (whether for extra hours, personal satisfaction, recognition, or to just make sure their bills get paid) are the butt of the black employees jokes. Then they have the nerve to come "NOSIN" around out in the nice suburbs. They've got money to spend on the Casinos, Rap Concerts and Bars and they wonder why those in charge of the economy want to relocate.

I am a 14 year old girl ( almost 15) and I really have a passion for helping others. I was wondering if there are any organizations that enroll teens to go to other countries to help people in need. Like the Peace Corps only that allow teenagers. Thank you for any help.
