If you have any questionable activities in your background, fuggedaboudit!!!! You have to be clean as a whistle. Speeding tickets, DUIs etc is a no no. Divorced? No good. Spousal abuse? No way!!! Alcohol and drug abuse problems. No!!!! You will need to go thru psychological screening and take a lie detector test..... among other things. These are all necessary for the required Top Secret clearance.

I would try the CIA or look at getting a Private Investigators license.
