Tough question.. you didnt mention what area of CA (its a big state) and you didnt mention what you are qualified to do...
So all I cantell you with that info is Burger king .. McDonalds or if you actually have some skills perhaps look at http://www.opm.gov/ for military bases (they peeps i used to work for)
Jobs are in short supply in CA in general.. we have a high populace... thank the gods I retired with a pension 11 years ago at age 37..

There is a Website that you can use to do a search for available jobs in your area.
Please click on my screen name (Money), then click on my 360 profile page and look near the top of that page. Make sure you go to the “Additional Income” page on that Website, and look for the section where you can do a search for available jobs in your area.
