hotel question?

I went to a hotel and i needed to ask the maid for a bar a soup..soo i walked up to her and ask her if i can take 1...........the hotel maid just turn away and started cleaning again..Are hotel maids not allowed to talk to people ?

Of course they are allowed to talk to people. Sounds to me like she was extremely rude or maybe even more likely didn't speak english. Either way she should have at least acknowledged you in some way.

No. If they talk to people, they will be fired.

Nice going, you almost gave some poor lady a pink slip.
