May I know what is an appropriate way to respond, when for example, you went for an interview, got through it, but do not want to give an immediate reply since you are also looking and waiting for other potential job offers?

If you say no, it might be a long wait for the next one to come by. If you say yes, you might miss out on a better opportunity. So what do you do?

I am really a good worker but it seems like my bosses don't really appreciate the things that I do. They lack motivation. I try talking to them about it but still I am unappreciated. I really work for a good company but I am not happy with management. What should I do? Look for another job or just bear the current situation. But honestly I am really underpaid. What to do?

I just got a job at Abercrombie & Fitch. When finding out what the times and days you are working, do you have to punch in first and then is your work schedule displayed? or is it posted on the wall?
How much of an advance notice do I have to give to request some days off, since I will be going out of town with my family during spring break for a few days? And, if I do get the days off, do I have to have someone cover for me while im gone?

We all very concerned about the safety at work and the chance of being bullied or killed by the young kids...today I told my friend who is a security guard working at our site about a joke of a co-worker ran away from a gang member once when he worked at other site. I told the security guard not to tell any other people because I only just heard it from someone. She said ok, but I am still afraid she is a big-mouthed...what should I do?

I don't know the full details, but she worked a 24 hour shift. She is a manager and supposedly had no choice but to work a 24 hour shift because she had to fire someone whom was stealing. But, I heard from a source that she locked her employees out of her store for a few minutes while she had a little break down. Granted, I don't know what happened to make her freak like this but she works at a very stressful job 60 or more hours a week. I think she is a workaholic and doesn't like to delegate work to other people.

What can I do to seek help for her? I am afraid she will get worse. And, I love her too much to see her emotionally distraught.

I am moving to Washington at the beginning of the summer and will be needing to find a job soon after. I don't know where to work though since I am very shy and don't want to do something where I have to talk to people a lot. The uniform is kind like a French maids outfit. It would be fun to work there and just watch the waitresses in their cute outfits. They have no waiters. I have strong experience so they should hire me. When I talked to the manager she said they had no policy against hiring guys but had a uniform policy that I would have to adhere to. She even playfully pulled out one of the dresses and matching panties and asked If I wanted to try on to see how I looked?
Its okay to make girls wear silly dresses and ruffly panties like this but not guys!
This is the only nice restaurant around, what can I do ?
can she really make me wear this uniform if i get the job?

I'm a strait A student. I'm going to be starting college soon. The reason why I want to be a lawyer is because I want to be rich and have lots of money. Would anyone know any good law schools in the Mid-West?

I never really gave law much thought but it's just a such a convenient way to make lots of money. Either way if someone else is a lawywer because they enjoy it, the results will be the same way in court. The law is the law no matter if I'm in it for the money or not. Agreed?

I keep a 2 year old girl from 6:30 till 3:30 Monday thru Friday and she has a sister who is in pre-school. I have to take the girl who is in preschool to school and back which is 16 miles round trip. Then I have to go back and get her which is 16 miles round trip. So i take her to school and pick her up. What should I charge to keep the 2 year old all day and then take the other to and from school Monday thru Friday with gas at almost $3 a gallon.

I cant decide what I should charge in this situaton. I need help.

I recently overheard a conversation that my boss I believe was having about me on the phone. I am not sure if he knew where I was or not. Talked about salary, resume on the internet. Lack of a girlfriend in fairly suburan area. All was aware of dark horse of myself arriving late to class after having a one night stand.Major metroplitian area filled with young singles is 30 mintues away. I applied for a transfer with the job 6 months into it. I am in training program the company has office in the major city but I am in their suburan office. Since I have applied for the transfer things have steadily gone down hill. I have been continutally micromanaged and belideled. Cited negatively in performance reviews, those issues have since been corrected though. The conversation really spooked me. I recentley took two days of vacation. Would they fire me on Monday? I am parnoid but dont know what to do. I wont get the transfer. So am not sure what to do. The job is good and the salary fair.
