I would suggest you go back to school and learn new skills in order to improve your abilities.

There are tons of books written on the subject of success. There are also a lot of websites. Read them. Join their message boards. One of the classics is a book called Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. Many people work hard all their lives and still die poor. Hard work alone will not make a person successful. You need to have a positive attitude and drive. Read about success and read the biographies of the people you think are successful and then put those principles into action.
