I am moving to Washington at the beginning of the summer and will be needing to find a job soon after. I don't know where to work though since I am very shy and don't want to do something where I have to talk to people a lot. What job can I get this is very serious so please no insulting questions and is there anything I can do to over come being so shy.

In the immortal words of Charles Schultz - "Find a job you love to do and you'll never work a day in your life."

What are you interested in? Are you good with numbers? Are you good with research? If we knew a little more about what interests you, then we can help you out more.

It all depends on what type or kind of job you are looking for. I know for a fact , that alot of nursing homes / "living" facilities hire dieticians aide. They are trained for free in most areas. If you can get a job in house cleaning, overnight stocking at a dept. store, etc. etc. , you shouldn't have to deal with people on a regular basis, but you will occasionally have to deal with "people" and your "shyness". Baby steps. Good luck!

Become more comfortable with yourself and work on your self esteem. Remember, people are *** afraid of you as you are of them. By afraid I mean nervous around you.
