I work for my landlord's daughter. However, working conditions are unspeakable. For instance, I'm making $20/day for 12/hr/day. How can I quit without causing friction with my landlord?

I had the same problem with you and i advise you . 1) Explain her that this job is not your opportunity of life so you can't lose 12 hours of your time. 2) Tell her that you will give her the time to search for solutions, 2 or 3 weeks its en ought i believe. 3) tell her that you have no hard feeling about her but you must find something better for your life, for your future.

First of all, make sure that you have another job to go to without making a hasty decision. Give them 2 to 3 weeks notice and offer to train your successor. Thank them for the opportunity that they have extended to you to broaden your horizons. Let them know that it has been a pleasure working with all of them and that you will miss the close relationship that you have acquired over the [months/years]. Leaving always has a certain amount of unpleasantries. But, I want to applaud you on your courage to know when it is time to move on. Also, consider taking up Real Estate and become a Realtor of your own company. You can do it, you know that don't you? I wish you plenty of success!

Resign informally first, by word before you hand in your resignation. Work your notice period and don't mention that you're leaving for money or circumstances. Make sure that you try to leave on a positive. Tell them you just wanta change of career or change of scene.

Just give her a letter of resignation with 2 weeks notice. Don't say why you are quitting.
