My company hired a new employee who sits next to me. She loves to talk continuously. I keep telling her I need to concentrate on my work but she says "oh sorry and then keeps right on talking." I've given her work to do but she talks while doing it so I don't know if it gets done correctly or not because she hands it back to the boss. Her bosses are not that busy so she doesn't have much work to do. She is nice enough but just loves to talk continuously. I've tried ignoring her and that didn't help. If she thinks no one is listening to her, she talks to herself like "I am thirsty. I think I'll go get a drink of water. Where did I put my pen? It's hot/cold in here, etc., etc." Do you get what I mean about this person? Any suggestions on shutting her up?
