Talk to your counselor at school. They would be able to tell you exactly how to get a work permit.

I got mine years ago when we had to wait until 16. I went to my hs office and the secretary filled out the form. Now is a good time to get a photo ID from the local DMV too if you dont already have one. a photo ID is important in opening a checking account and such once you get a job and get your paychecks.

im not sure...it may be different for different states. when i was underage...i got a work permit from my high school. they have to approve it. either that or talk to ur future employer or any business that hires ppl ur age...they should have experience in this situation and direct u in the right direction
