Have I got a news flash for you. Here's what you do for your project. Do a research project on Mary Kay Ash. She's only The foremost entrepreneur of The 20Th century!!! Go to the yellow/white pages of your phone book and in your area look up a NATIONAL Director of Mary Kay Cosmetics. Since your still in high school this could be something that will change your life. There is no other job in corporate America that pays like this company. It is also the best cosmetic company world wide. How's that for a legacy. You might also be interested to know that the Mary Kay Cosmetic company program is now taught at the college level at some of the most prestigious schools in the country.
Your objective would be to contact a Director and she could help you chart the income from the "consultant" status (starting out with a 115.00 kit) to the recruiter status (EARNING 4% bonus income from the company) to director status in this company(taking leadership trips around the world and earning millions) Also important to note that this company is NOT a pyramid gimmick. It's hard work and personal growth...
Good luck on your project!!!

The one you are good at & passionate about. Do NOT go about picking a career by what "gets you the most money". You will be the best at what you are passionate about. If you are called to be a teacher, you can make a mint if you are teaching something besides 5th grade math! Think about all the "guru" types like Tony Robbins, Dave Ramsey, etc. They are teachers, but not the obnoxious, witless public school variety. Just goes to show that ANY calling can make you a millionaire if you are THE BEST at it!

Also, while I would never try to force anyone to choose any particular career, you might want to consider accounting. CPAs are a hot commodity in most markets & GREAT, A**-KICKING CPAs are REALLY hot. I would've NEVER thought to become an accountant, but I started studying it at my hubby's encouragement. I absolutely LOVE it!

Day trader. the top 100 traders make about 10 million to 1.5 billion per year.

If you are looking for something where you cant lose money, anything in sales. You dont need a college degree to be in sales and you can make more your first year in sales than someone with a masters degree.

Doctors are paying too much for malpractice insurance these days. Lawyers are a dime a dozen, the average for them here is about $54K. No idea where the big bucks are anymore.
