Is anybody aware of at home jobs that are not scams? Meaning, I don't have to put _x_ amount of cash in to get thousands out? I am currently working as an independent sales rep for Avon, but it simply doesn't bring in enough cash for me. I am considering Melaleuca, but it seems too difficult to work with considering you have to make a purchase each month--regardless if you have money to do so! Any tips, tricks, ideas?

I'm at a very confusing time in my life as far as careers go. Everyone keeps telling me it will fall into place in time, but will it really? I really want to go back to school, but I'm clueless as to what I should do. Considering my husband and I want a very big family, something in the education field is ideal, so I can be at home with the kids in the evenings and summer, and won't have to pump half our income into daycare. However, I don't know if teaching is right for me. What other options do I have in the education field? Or what other jobs would be ideal? Please help!

I've got a guy at work that is constantly talking bad about me to other people. These people then come to me an let me know what he is saying. First of all this is a huge manufacturing company. We have worked together in the past. He accused me of punching him "which is not true at all" in which led to my demotion and moved to another plant in the company. He then got another job in the same plant that I was moved to. Now usually in the older days Id beat him silly. Oh and believe me, I want to now and have thought of catching him outside of work many times, but I am more concerned about being grown up and keeping my job as I am 32 years old. If I go to the higher ups then I'm some kind of snitch. If I beat his *** then I'm a bully and a loser. If I let it go, I will eventually go nutts. What should I do do resolve this situation immediately without all of the drama? Thanks for any help here.

I'm having trouble finding a part time job in the evening. I work from 12 to 5 during the day, and am trying to find something else. I've looked into babysitting, waitressing, beauty consultation, hostessing, hotel reception, arts and crafts....nothing seems to pan out. Nobody is hiring from say, 6 to 10 pm, which is what I need. Any ideas? Thanks! Oh...and I don't want to dance for Hardbodies.....Guess I should mention that I live in a small town...no stores open at night unless they are restaurants. And, I need to do something that earns me atleast $15/hr or $10/hr. under the table.

Our group has laid off may people and I have assumed their responsibilities. So, I alone, am doing what 4 guys were doing.
I don't have a problem with the amount of work but rather with the diversity. While fairly computer literate, I have a difficult time keeping up with the knowledge required by 4 people.
I am feeling incredibly guilty asking for training - even though I know it will help me on the job. I know this sounds crazy but I would like to hear what you think.

(I did not work in FL the year we stayed there). How can I "word" this without giving too much unnecessary information to the interviewer.? Thanks so much for your help

my interview coach said I should say that I've been looking since then but I don't want to lie and it would also appear that I haven't found a job in 5 months if I did this. I appreciate your response. I could use some wording that sound precise and professional without saying (" I was playing Mom for 5 months") Thanks to all!

I work in Minnesota. And since November my employer has been messing around with the way he pays me because he was audited by the state for not paying me properly. Because of that he gave me a raise and benifits during a meeting with him (at that time he gave me a good review). After that I worked harder and did all my job. But suddenly, without warning he moved me to part time and took away all my benifits, the odd thing is that he never gave a warning but said he did it because of a bad market. Now im stuck in a financial nightmare. Is it legal for him to do that???
