How wouldon go about hiring Downs syndrome people?

I want to pass out some flyers door to door. Does anyone know of an agency that will use downs syndrome people to do that?

First of all, I would like to gently suggest that you not refer to "Downs syndrome people" particularly if you intend to establish a working relationship with them. They are "people with Down syndrome"....always think of them as people first...not a condition.

If you are serious about wanting to hire people with Down syndrome, I suggest you contact your local ARC agency (Association for Retarded Citizens). More than likely, they will have some sort of job placement and/or referral program established or, at the very least they will know of one and will be able to point you in the right direction.

Yes, contact your local agape service, or other diability center. Many times they have individuals that work temporary jobs such as passing out flyers.
