My employer is a small family owned and operated company. I am a single person. She thinks she can get away with treating me any kind of way while I'm employed by her.

I work for a small family owned company. The owner has done a terrible job at training new hires, then turns around and harasses me, the employee for not doing things the way they should be done. The way she handles it is to charge me money for every error I make, and talks down to me telling me I should remember something because it's costing them money and sarcastically saying she told me 3000 times and I still can't get it. She is past retirement age, and looks at me like I'm fresh out of school, too innocent to know better how I should be treated. Is there anything I can do legally other than leave?

I am in accounting Dept in Bank. FDIC audit came to exam and we got satisfactory. He told me if bank did not get satisfactory from auditor, I would get fired. I have no idea why he talked to me like that. Should I report this to HR and Can I do legal action against him?

A job I've been thinking about applying for wants to know if they can call my previous employers. I'm fine with that, but it's the holidays and even I can't get through. Right now, I need to confirm the dates I was working there. I don't want to give incorrect information.

Does being pretty gives you a advantage of getting hired at a job over someone who is butt ugly?...and lets say both women have a pretty good education and job history.

My company updated their employment agreement which includes an updated non-compete and other tidbits. They've done it once before only this time they are paying employees they asked to sign the new one $1,000.00 to sign it. Is this to protect themselves by making it a contract where "goods and services" are exchanged as opposed the usual one where we all sign away our skills, abilities, brains and ideas without getting anything in return?

I don't have a year of formal job experience so lets say ur first job lasted only 3 months though put my 2 week notice so u can get good reference from them then lets say ur 2nd job u had attendance problems so u CAN"t get good references from them but u still work there for half a year...then u get a 3 rd job worked for 2 months but they ask u to resign...so u quit.....so my question is should i still include all my employment history or better off not since i can't get good reference from almost all except one of 3??

a lot more? I am wondering how this is perceived, because of a conversation I had recently with a friend who lumped the two together, as if they were equivalently low amounts. $14 is nearly three times $5, but in dollars, it's "only" $9 more, so to some, they may not seem far apart.
