A job I've been thinking about applying for wants to know if they can call my previous employers. I'm fine with that, but it's the holidays and even I can't get through. Right now, I need to confirm the dates I was working there. I don't want to give incorrect information.

Even if they call your previous employer, they will check the period you were working there - they will not check the dates and days and so on.

When you are applying, say an approximate period. Say "worked for approximately ..... days" or leave it wide like saying "worked in a period during the months of ........., ......." and so on.

as you can get correct information, I of course feel thats the best to do

Good luck!
