The company I work for keeps playing games with our paychecks. How do I report this in a way that I don't lose my job?

Playing Games - We are not paid until 5 weeks into the job. Then we are not being paid the right hourly wage this week. I am ready to file something or speak with my attorney.

You should be able to make an anonymous report to your state labor relations board.

First make sure that your hourly wage is a set value and have it in writing. Then also have the hours you worked and the pay stubs. I would go to the accountant or whoever cuts the checks for the company and tell them you think there is something wrong with your paychecks. If they don't help, then I would seek an attorney because that is the last nice way to do something about it. Also, if they wait 5 weeks into the job to pay, remember that you are getting a check for hours you may have worked weeks ago. Remember have EVERYTHING in writing even when you talked to the person who cuts the checks. Get them to sign a statement that you talked and what you talked about with the time and date. You can't go wrong. Be sure that if they continue to act up, you report them to the Better Business Bureau. Hope it works out for you. Happy Holidays!

I think you should take it seriously and report the matter either to Higher Authorities or you can even take them to Court ! Make sure you have proper documents to support your point or atleast some friends in either of the case!

Best of Luck and Keep Smiling!
