I have found out how much the students pay for the classes and now know that I get only 64% of it....do you think that´s fair??? although she paid for the book and the photocopies I feel like I should get at least 75%...

My girlfriend has been working for the hospital for over a year but has lied on her applications regarding her education. She actually left high school but sounds like she has a degree. If they were to find out now, after a year, would it matter and could she lose her job. So far she had been doing a excellent job and has received many compliments and bonuses. Do employers really make a big deal out of incomplete education and should I make her finish it so as not to worry ?

Prisoners will often want to talk to staff about a personal problem. Please describe one situation where you have had to give support to someone facing a personal problem.

I work with this woman who i know is breaking all types of rules and is trying to get me fired. she is buddy, buddy with one of the supervisors and is feeding him all types of lies about me. I dont know if I should knock her *** out or what. Any ideas.........I know dirt on her but I dont like to play tit for tat. I think i may get fired because of her..........I want to do something but i dont know what. HELP PLEASE!!!!

I have an interview for a position I know I am qualified for, but I think because I have only done a certain aspect of this position for 6 months it may prevent me from getting the job. I'm thinking of saying I've done it for a lot more than 6 months, since I've really been doing my current position for 6 years. Do you think the employer will ask that much detail if I lie about how long I've done it for.

I am now more than 3 years in my job but i keep on murmuring to my husband that i really have trouble about my job. There are times that this is the cause of our quarrel. I really don't like my boss, my salary is very low, the invironment that i'm working with is really not healthy, my co worker's attitudes are intolerable. But one thing was nice, i can earn extra money because i have sideline from there. But my husband always told me not to leave my job because we still need it. Sometimes i can say my husband is after only of the money, not my happiness. He said he is just looking for my future.

Hi
My school is organising a ski trip to America for a week and i realy want to go but it will cost me £900 !!! The trip is in March 2008 though, so i have a while to come up with some cash. Any one have any ideas on how to make some cash ? I've searched google to see what jobs a 13 year old can get but i couldn't find any and the only one i know is a paper round but that only makes about £5 a week which isn't enough ( i need about £15-£20 per week) so does anyone know what jobs i can get ?

But here is the thing, they let someone go at the end of last week, at the same time they told me that my job is ending at the end of the year, and told me that they are being extremely genourous.


But the kicker is they have me sit around ALL DAY doing nothing, doesn't it sound like they are trying to push me out so that they don't have to pay unemployment. My question I suppose is there any rights out there or is there someone that I can report this too. I believe they just want to get out of unemployment, figuring that I will just get bored and leave.

Please some advise; what can I do!

I just received a call from a past employer who gave "the best reference" she's ever "given for anyone" for me. What are the odds that I will get a job offer? I have already had two panel interviews. The second one was with five managers, all from different departments. I think this means there is more than one spot available. I sent a thank you note. Should I continue with a follow up call or is that too much pestering?

Life at work is seriously getting to me. I work for a small company that maybe has 15 employees max. Since it is such a small place, I have a lot of daily contact with my bosses.
There are so many problems... the favoritism is SO obvious. I get promised things (like a new computer) and my co-worker who has been there 2 months less than me gets a new one, and production gets one... but here I am, without a new computer. When our building was redone, my area was the last to be fixed up, and people used my desk as an inventory table. I feel that I am virtually invisible, even though I strive to work hard for low pay. I feel that my bosses think that since my education is minimal, I don't know anything, even though I have proven myself a thousand times over. I want to get recognized... I want to matter. I have been looking for a new job, and no luck so far. Is there something wrong with me?

a friend has left her job and was supposed to get her last wage on the 20th oct but they keep saying that the cheque has been lost and now they say her p45 has been lost too , but she thinks they are just stalling cos she left what can she do , and who should she contact about it

The manager from my old job was rude, grumpy, takes people quitting personally. It's hard to find a job, I think because she's giving me a bad reference. Could this be it? I've never been fired from a job before, nor was I a delinquent employee.

I already have a job but I don't love it as much as I used to because everyone that used to be there left and the new manager is mean and the owner cheats me of pay. I need help. I think deciding whether people are mentally fit to be let out of prison and into society ie. paedophiles, murderers and rapists, and having the power to keep them locked up if they are a danger to anyone, is quite an important demanding job but some people think its airy fairy rubbish, what do you reckon?
