You can search monster.com, careerbuilder, etc. but I think sometimes those waste a lot of time. Your best bet is to research some big employers in the city that you want to move to. Check out the company websites and apply directly. Also, you can most likely check the city's local newspaper want ads online. I think that these methods will save you time. All the best in your relocation!

1. the city's local newspaper
2. Monster.com
3. Careerbuilder.com
4. Yahoo hot jobs
5. Craigslist
Also if you are interested in a particular job from a certain field, you might do a little research and see if companies in that field is hiring in the city you want.

I started doing this and went through Monsters.com, yahoo.com (jobs) and also went to the website of the local newspaper where I was moving to and looked through it online to see what they had available. I got a lot of good leads through them all.

No I didn't move because my company decided they didn't want me to leave & gave me a better deal. But I did have several offers from the potential employers & I was going to Virginia from California.

Good luck.
