Type up all the dirt you have on her and leave it on her desk... don't put a name on it .... just a little add on note at the bottom saying if she doesn't stop spreading rumors this will be sent to management ....
May just make her stop all her "tattling" everyone will be better off
Good Luck :)
Personally I'd confront her asking what the problem is ... then if needs be go to management with the same questions .
Then theres always "Dial-a-Goon" to take care of those pesky office co-workers ...lol

A backstabber and gossip in the workplace might be entertaining to some, but you can believe that they are never respected (it's true - hope that makes you feel a little better).
If possible, speak to your direct supervisor so they are aware of the issue - that a co-worker is trying to discredit you (hopefully it's not the same supervisor the backstabber is speaking to). No need to lower yourself to her level (no matter how tempting it) - especially in the business world. A good supervisor and solid co-worker will assess you by your actions, not by what someone else says. Continue to do a great job at work - that's what a good employer values. Good luck!

violence or
dishing dirt on her will not be helpful
try an honest heart-to-heart with her AND
the supervisor that is being fed the info.
Talk to them about what is being said and
whether it's true. Ask them and then listen.
Use courage. Step in and confront them.
Possibly when they are together or apart.
Tell them what you heard and where you heard it and
ask if they really said/did that and why.
Don't run from the situation or let them be the only ones talking.

It would help to know why you think she is backstabbing you and why you think you're getting fired. If you confronted her she probably would deny it. Can you ask your supervisor straight out if there is a problem?

I personally would confront her one day and ask her what her effing problem is, but I'm not known for being tactful. I'd also look for another job.

Don is sturdy! regardless of in case you turn down the interest, they gained't inevitably supply it to her. might you be happy for her in the event that they do? How might you experience in case you turn it down and neither of you get the interest?
