I would like to basically fight for issues that need to be addressed by the government and see that they get resolved, Eventually help people in Africa, and possibly start my own organization to help people to have a voice to speak out about certain issues, provide information about certain topics that young people are unaware of, and to help the less fortunate in general. I know its alot but is there a particular career this is called? not so much the second part but the first part? I wanna basically fight for the little people, get bills and laws passed. ( I think) PLease someone help!!!??

I need a career change. At 25, I am creative and I am fed up of sitting at a desk all day doing boring admin work. I appreciate I am very lucky to have such a good job but it just aint me. Any ideas? I don't really want to re-train (I've already done an art degree).

I have been doing my current job within this current capacity for 8 yrs. The Director has now deleted my current post and created a new post with additional duties. In fact its not additional duties, its another post which has been amalgamated with my current post. Its effectively , 2 posts , with one job created. However, the additional job/duties is everything i don't do, have no expertise or knowledge and would not apply for the job if it was advertised. I vented my feelings through the proper channels and felt my consultation went well. However, since the consultation took place, the new contract with its terms and condtions isn't what i expected it to be . As I am now being asked to do something I did not ‘sign up for ‘ My question is, Do i have to sign the new contract and if i refuse what options do i have? Can they make me sign the new contract? Please advise

When a company says the overpaid you by £1000 and wants it back (this is several months after leaving) and are taking you to court to get it back, what is the best thing to do?

my mate has sent them letters in the meantime about repayment and not recieved anything until the court summons. She does not have the money to pay them off, and it was their mistake anyway! they even did her P45 without taking notice of this money they 'overpaid' her

I've FINALLY got an interview tomorrow but there's just one problem....I don't know what questions to ask!

I don't want to be shallow & only ask about pay, hours etc.

I REALLY want to make a good impression because I want this job SO much.

Its for an Office Administrator position at a company called Smart Energy UK Ltd,they're a solar energy sales company.

My interview is at 3pm tomorrow so I don't want to bore the interviewer with the same questions she's been hearing all day.

Do you have any good ideas for questions to ask???
Please help me!

I have been at my current company for nearly two years and I have had one very small payrise in line with inflation. It has recently come to my attention that other people who do the same job as me are earning more money. It is only a small company with 9 staff (one of whom has just resigned!) I would like to ask for a pay rise to bring my salary in line with other people. I am good at my job and have had excellent reports in my apraisals. I just dont want to rock the boat as I know my boss and his wife (who is also co. secretary) can be quite difficult in these situations. Any suggestions on how I can approach this with the best results :-) thanks

A few of them are aways stealing and eating our food. Even stuff that is not wrapped up like sandwiches. I would like some ideas on what I can put in the food that will NOT hurt them but teach them a lesson. Management will do nothing about this problem. It is hard to work a 12 hour shift only to come to break w/o a lunch.
