I've FINALLY got an interview tomorrow but there's just one problem....I don't know what questions to ask!

I don't want to be shallow & only ask about pay, hours etc.

I REALLY want to make a good impression because I want this job SO much.

Its for an Office Administrator position at a company called Smart Energy UK Ltd,they're a solar energy sales company.

My interview is at 3pm tomorrow so I don't want to bore the interviewer with the same questions she's been hearing all day.

Do you have any good ideas for questions to ask???
Please help me!

Good interviewee questions include:

1. Do you have any staff development programs?
2. Would you be able to offer flexible hours if I choose to go back to University and study part time?
3. Is there much potential for advancement within the company?
4. Do you offer on the job training?

These kinds of questions make you appear committed to the company and willing to work there long term.

You can ask about pay, but don't make it the first thing you ask. Also, asking about superannuation benefits (do you have superannuation in the UK?) makes you seem more mature.

One of the most important things, speaking from experience in interviewing, is that it is essential that you speak clearly and take your time when answering a question. It is absolutely fine to think about your answer for a couple of seconds after the question is asked. Your answers will be better and it makes you look much smarter and very switched on.

Also, consistently maintain eye-contact with the interviewer/s. If there is more than one, pay attention to each.

In interviews, I have found that you do not need to worry about questions to ask. The interviewer will do that for you. One thing that is good to do is to try and find as much information about the company as possible. Look and see if the company has a website. The interview will be impressed if you know something about the company. The important thing to stress is that you have the skills or experience to do the job and that you enjoy this kind of work. Do NOT ask that many questions about pay, hours, and benefits. Concentrate on how you enjoy this work. Good luck!

You can ask about their turn over rate for this position. You can look the company up online and ask something about the history of the company. You can ask about advancement in your position. You can ask if there is any funding available for classes that improve your job skills in your field. Hope that helps.

Make sure you look at their website and learn all about them, it may come in handy. Ask them why the position has become available. Ask them what they expect, if they dont make it clear. Tell them you want Christmas and New year off, as you are going skiing!!! Good luck
