A few of them are aways stealing and eating our food. Even stuff that is not wrapped up like sandwiches. I would like some ideas on what I can put in the food that will NOT hurt them but teach them a lesson. Management will do nothing about this problem. It is hard to work a 12 hour shift only to come to break w/o a lunch.

Your have lame managers if stealing isn't a concern. And no way around it, this is stealing.

Anything you do to sabotage the food could come back on you, badly. Especially if you've already voiced the problem with the stealing.

Have you considered a combination lock on a fridge? Only those of you on that shift have the combo. Also anywhere else ya'll can leave your food (car, locker, bosses office)?

Time to ask for a raise. This company can afford employees who steal and low production rates due to a hostile work environment, then they can afford to pay all of you better. Be sure and outline your accomplishments and how you are overcoming adversity everyday on the job.

Good luck...

Add a strong dose of curry or a lot of salt. Make it taste bad without being too harmful.

first day: get more food.. let them eat.. put up a board, it is for them
second day: repeat and do for week still they continue u spot them and reciprocate their action:)

alternatively, if you sense they are sensible, mark food as dog food:)
