My boyfriend and I are from Seattle, WA. We lived in Spokane, WA for the past 5 years, and just recently moved to Portland, OR. He got into 5 of the 6 graduate schools he applied to, and we had our choice where to move. I started a new job, and am getting much better pay and benefits. He is miserable at school- starting to question if this is even what he wants to do. I don't like my new job... but as I said the pay and benefits are much better. Should we stick it out and try to keep our chins up, or should he take a year off and I find a new job? I have only been working here for 2 mos. so I know that will not look good on my resume. This is not a fast food job... I am in my career at this point.

After an argument with my supervisor, I quit my job where I had worked for ten years. When I quit, I had about 20 unused vacation days. Don't they have to pay me for those days, since I never took them off? If so, what if they refuse to give it to me?

I think that the worse job I have ever done up until this point is working as a bar back in a pizza shop. The pay sucked and the people were often rude. The tips were Ok on friday and saturday. I am in the medical field now. Close to becoming a nurse. The people are more friendly and the pay is a whole lot better.

What's your dream job, assuming that money wasn't an issue? Mine would be working in a bamboo tiki bar on the beach. When I wasn't doing that, I'd be sun bathing with my family and friends. Here's my ideal workplace: http://arctikihuts.com/images/photos/tiki_gazeekee_sm.jpg

This is the second time I have posted this question I really need some more ideas!I am 13 and need to make some money. I have 5 little siblings and I am wtaching them for about 6 hours a day-and I don't think I could watch anymore so making money baby sitting is out of the question. I don't have much acces to the internet so making money that way isn't really an option around here. I am too young to get a job. Both my parents work hard and I don't want to ask them for money. I am home schooled and only have to do school for about 5 hours a day. Also I am involved in sports so between that schoolwork and watching my siblings I only have about 2 hours a day for making money. My parents don't want me going door to door for safety reasons. I am a hard worker and really desperate. Please help!
