MY JOB IS MAKING MY LIFE MISERABLE, BUT I MAKE REALLY GOOD MONEY, I KNOW MONEY ISN'T EVERYTHING. BUT I KNOW YOU NEED IT TO SURVIVE!! I AM AFRAID OF HOW MY FAMILY WILL FEEL, CONSIDERING I WENT TO COLLEGE TO DO WHAT I AM DOING AND HAVE ONLY BEEN HERE A YEAR, A YEAR TO LONG!! DO YOU THINK I WILL REGRET QUITING? I KNOW I AM THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN DECIDE THIS, GUESS I JUST NEED TO KNOW I'LL MAKE IT!!! OH YEAH, I AM ALSO GOING BACK TO SCHOOL TO BE A TEACHER!!!! YEAH

i am married and have a 4 yr. old, my husband makes great money, i just feel bad wanting to quit and go back to school since i just got out, i feel really torn, everyday for almost a year i say if it isn't better tommorow i'll quit, but i feel so guilty that i don't, everyone just keeps saying it will get better my gut says it won't though, i don't know, i appreciate all your comments though, oh sigh.

If you are in school, then quit and get a part time job if you have to. You can always use school as an excuse to your family saying that it is much too stressful to do both.
If you need to have another job before going back to school, then start interviewing and then quit when you get a new one. it's easier to find a job when you have one...

You may just be with the wrong company. I have been out of college for a little over a year, and have worked two jobs in my field. The first job was wonderful (although pay and benefits were awful), now I am working at a job I don't like, but have the great pay and benefits. I know how you feel. You've done your time girly... go look for another job in your field. If you give a new company a year and you still don't like what you do, get out of that field. Good luck!

I'd look for a different job while you are at the one you are at now. It looks good to a prospective boss and possibly your family. Though appearances to people aren't everything and if it gets to bad then you may have to leave to keep your sanity.
Good idea going back 2 school for something you may like better!!

look for another job first and/ or go back to school..you still need to pay bills, most jobs suck..but they are better than having no money to pay bill and go out and have a good time

Money will not make you happy if you hate your job. As long as you don't have dependents it is your decision alone. go for it.
