How many days from when you sign on does it take for the money to go into your post office account?

I am hoping people will say wednesday cos i am abso-lutly skint and i have to get to a job interview in Manchester tommorrow afternoon and im in liverpool.

If it's not the first week you have signed on then probably 3 days but once it took 9 weeks for my money to come through and I had a baby and a lazy husband to feed.

I'd like to add that fairtraider can't be a sponger as someone on here suggested, as he is actually trying to get work. That's what the DSS is for.

People in England have $$ in post offices ? You sign on from where and move $$ from where to the post office ?
just curious, we americans don't have any $$ moved to our post offices, only mail.
