i don't think they "come up" with new Visas...they just give it to you if there's a reason to do so...

If you are looking for a job (graduate I guess as you said you are studying) the company need to sponsor your application and they can do that ONLY if they can prove that noone else with the right to work in the EU has the skills they are looking for. I dont wanna sound negative but for a graduate that's not usually the case.

The UK home office has different rules for different countries. If you are a student in London and a foreigner you most probably have a visa already. You should check what the rules are for citizens of your country living in the UK. Also, please consider that a visa does not help you find a job, it just legalises your stay in the country.

visa is a permit to stay in country for a while not a get a job. so try to figure out the difference between visa. And other important thing is Home Office never deals with employments. You need to go thru home office website for clear vision.
