I am currently enrolled online at Capella University studying social and community services. My undergrad degree is in business administration. I really don't know what I can do with a degree in Business Administration and Social Service jobs don't pay well. What should I do? I can't find a job with my current degree and it is really taking a toll on me and my marriage. Should I continue to waste my money studying social and community services or should I pursue something else? I am stuck!! PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!

I work for a dentist who didn't flat out refuse to pay for the employees Hepatitis B vaccines/boosters, but he did make the comment that he expected us all to have this taken care of before mid November. When I responded that money was really tight right now before Christmas, especially with my husband out on medical leave for 10 weeks, and could we find a really cheap place, he responded " You know, you need this for your JOB. And if you don't have this job, you wouldn't be having much of a Christmas anyways, so I would think that this would be pretty important to take care of, wouldn't you?"

After checking with some others in the medical field, including other doctors, I was told that there is an OSHA law that required employers to provide this shot free of charge to any employee who is exposed to human blood, fluids, or waste. This would obviously include me and my co-workers.
Does anyone know about this law and could help me get the info?

I have worked as a teacher at a college, but now I am applying for a admin assitant type position at an arts center.
I am just worried they are gonna see all my education experience and think 'Why does he wanna do this job, for less money?'
I really want this job, how can I explain that, without saying 'Im sick of teaching'?

-oh, I was made redundant due to budget cuts, but i just saw it as an opportunity for a change.

They get paid around 3 to 4 times the annual salary of teachers/nurses etc for every match, and all they're doing is playing a game - where is the justice in that??

I left my previous job because I hated everything about it. It was in a retail - store manager post, I hated my area manager, she was pain in the ****, uncreative, uninteresting cold fish (sorry), I hated my workhours, my lazy colleagues, just wanted to leave or I would loose my mind!!! What shall I say at interview? Cant talk bad about my experience just have to lie, but how? A lot? A little?

I'm been going through a rough time both at home and at work. My boss told me a few weeks ago that he thought I was going downhill and to sort myself out. I told him I needed time off but he refused.
I had a bit of a breakdown, and stayed in bed for 5 days non-stop, should have been in work for 3 of them.
Went to doc today. I was diagnosed with severe depression (tell me something I don't know!) and she gave me sick-note for two weeks, some tablets and an appointment with a counsellor.

Can I be expected to get the sack because I didn't phone in, or must my boss honour the sicknote and the fact that I am ill?

I've always been interested to know this. How much can a professional photographer earn? For example, maybe a glamour photographer with a website for amateur models?

I'm currently 30 yrs old and I'm finishing my undergrad degree this year. Since I'm already a little older I decided to go ahead and get an MBA. I have a few years of work experience(3 yrs in army, 2 yra as a radio dj, etc...) but nothing really related to buiness mgmt. I have been accepted to a small, but respected, state school. Do you think I should get my MBA now or wait? If I do go do you think that I'll get a decent job with a good salary?
