Er, perhaps, tell me if this is a low, average or high salary for a 22 year old. The person took 2 years off of school and almost has their associates degree. They take 16 credit hours per semester. For two years, they have worked a full time (40 hr a week) tech job and make $31,000.

Low, average or high for that age group?

I am down to the wire on the decision. I have 5 more years until retirement. But I hate where I work and dislike the management. I have a physically demanding job and would be starting at the bottom of the senority list with the new job. I am now at the top of the seniority list with the current job. I would be giving up 30 days of vacation for 7 days. My commute will double in miles and I will not have a pension at the new place Only 401K. The pay is a little better but I will not run a crew anymore but will instead be part of a crew. Should I go for it and take chance on being happy or put up with the current BS for 5 more years ?? I have dreamed of quitting numerous times in the past. Thanks for you help !!

My son has just turned 16 and works in a local cafe weekends and school holidays, he is however only getting £1.50 per hour!!!
His manager reckons that because he hasn`t actually left school he does have to pay the minimum wage for 16 year olds. Is that right?

I am in a really bad work enviorment and looking for a new job. If a prespective employeer calls my current employeer can my current job give me a bad reerance? It has been hinted at that my current employeer is pushing me to quit so I can not collect unemployment insurance. I got a review that was poor(1st one ever in 7 years) and they twisted occurances and flat out made stuf up. I have a really good job lined up pending a backround check but am affraid that if my current job gets called they will give me a very negative review. By the way someone else just gave a 2 week notice and 2 of the 3 remaining people are leaving ASAP. Also in the past year 2 people have been let go and 3 other have left. What laws would apply in California?

What the heck does a person do with a business degree? I'm looking for a path to take educationally and I enjoy the concepts and strategy of business, and think I'd really enjoy getting a degree in business. But where in the business world does someone with a bachelor of business start? What work on a day to day basis is done? What steps can be taken to ensure job placement after graduation? and supposedly believe in the Golden Rule, actually backstab, play politics, judge, gossip, and screw over their neighbors worse than anyone else? Then they often knowingly twist and distort the truth to make themselves look righteous?
