I can honestly say that for all the time I used job boards, I never once got a good lead from HotJobs, but have had several leads from Monster. BUT, with that said, I don't think either are all that great. I have come to prefer industry specific sites as opposed to the huge job boards. It's too easy to be overlooked unless you pay for a premium listing, which, they'll do anything to get your money. And don't bother with worktree.com, either...that's a money scheme.

I like Monster also try BrassRing.com....The average turnaround depending on where you live is about 30 days for a response. I apply all the time for the hell of it just to see.

I use careerbuilder.com, my husband uses Monster; also try the CraigsList for your area. All are possibilities; I don't think any is better than another.

Monster IMHO is still king, but why not try both?
