The key thing is to remember what you are trying to achieve by taking the part time job. Do you want to do this as you are looking to have a better quality of life? Thinking it through, if you feel money is what motivates, than stick the normal routine of full time.

Also factor in that, if you do go Part Time, how will that affect your financial situation in terms of covering expenses and savings.

The other thing you should ask employer is that if you do decide to go PT and than want to swith back or work FT, will they let you or have to reapply for another position?

take the part time job if you don't want to work full time. Holidays are over rated anyway plus you are off on cheaper non holidays. You can have just as much fun.

The healthcare field is a killer if you want holidays off on a consistent basis. If you want "bankers hours" and pretty much guaranteed holidays off then work at an office job (office assistant, receptionist, admin assistant, etc). It's higher pay than entry level customer service and less painful hours.
