I'm currently 30 yrs old and I'm finishing my undergrad degree this year. Since I'm already a little older I decided to go ahead and get an MBA. I have a few years of work experience(3 yrs in army, 2 yra as a radio dj, etc...) but nothing really related to buiness mgmt. I have been accepted to a small, but respected, state school. Do you think I should get my MBA now or wait? If I do go do you think that I'll get a decent job with a good salary?

I beleive that a person who has studies full time and obtained an MBA, can NEVER know what you know now already.

(Read what Minzberg says about MBA's and managers. He stresses that an MBA give a manager technical skills, but can never MAKE one a manager.)

You have experience in Army, radio etc. If you complete your MBA and I am working in Defence industry of Entertainment Industry, I will defenitely rather hire you than someone straight from school to college.

FINISH your MBA, it will also allow you to make the right business contacts.
