is it necessary that your address be on your resume. and that your ssn be on paper applications lying who knows where. what can be left out on a resume?

but really, when you turn down or your not offered the job how do you know the information is being disposed of properly. I have worked in a place where the job applications were left at reach to anyone, even customers.

I trust no one!!

If they ask why you are leaving? Here is the deal. I have only been at my current job for 7 months. When I was hired, I was promised to be moved into a different position, and I was also promised a huge raise (thier words not mine) upon getting my insurance license, well I completed my license and nothing has happened. To top this off, some other people quit and instead of hiring people to fill in the spots, they expect me to do it all. I am just tired of being stepped on here and working for peanuts. I have two degrees and I am better than this, but how would you answer the why did you leave question and not sound like you are bashing the place, greedy or irresponsible? thanks

I recently submmited my resume to a job that I seem highly qualified for, and they are asking for a lot of responsabilities that aren't normal for the position I applied for. They sent me back a simple response "How much?" Shouldn't they be the ones telling me their offer so that we can negotiate... What should I say?

I know firms that are NASD members will sponsor you if you are an employee or becoming an employee. I am more interested in being sponsored by an independent company that specializes in sponsorship.

Hi!

I'm moving to London in december, or january. I'd like to get a job there, to improve my english and I'm wondering what kind of job can a foreigner get, instead of bar staff or waitress? I'll certainly start with it, but do you have other ideas?

Thanks!

America seems to be all about the free enterprise system, but MOST americans would rather take the easy route and go work for big buisness, instead of starting their own buisness (only 2.5% of americans own their own buisnesses). Then they get angry when big buisness isn't doing so good and needs to make job cuts/outsource. Ford, GM, etc. are companies; companies exist to make profit, not to give you an easy job and a pension. Why do people think they have the right to job security in America. Thoughts?
