How long does it take an application to go through?

I dropped off an application about a week ago at EB and I haven't heard anything, is this normal

You need to ASK questions to close the loop for possible employment ! Other than that it's normal, they will call you when their READY !

It takes as long to go through as it takes the manager to look at it and either dismiss it or be interested. Try calling them to ask if any decisions have been made.

24 to 48 hours.... online app.. is quicker...
