I need help finding a new job. I have been looking for a while now with no luck. I have a degree in management from Bryant College. I would like to find a job in RI. I have been a processor for a mortgage company for 5 years. I would like to find a job out side of the mortgage industry. I am very good with a computer and I am a very fast learner. Can anyone help me with some ideas?

I have just started working from home and I love it. I will give you my website and you could take a look at it. I have a couple of options of how I can deliver the information one is on the phone and the other would be thru skype and a slide presentation. I am not able to send a simple email because it is important to hear all the information in it entirety. You can request information on the first page of my web site. http://www.stayinhomeandlovinit.com/cgi-...

Every state has a U.S. Dept. of Labor. Find out where the nearest office is. They have career counselors who can work with you on defining your job search and a database of jobs from their website. Make an appointment to meet with an employment counselor and they will give you pointers on your resume and show you how to access the website. They list all kinds of jobs (i.e, private, sector, education, govt.) etc. This is a free service. It also sounds as if you need help identifying your vocational skills and how to translate that into a job outside of the mortgage industry. Good luck!

Have you considered networking? It is a great way to earn money working from your own home as your own boss. Ever heard of Robert Kiyosaki Rich Dad Poor Dad? He has another book called "The Business School" and he talks a lot about network marketing strategies and getting on the right side of the cash flow quadrant. That's what I did when I started my own business at http://www.mywayoutonline.com/ access code 108306 that is a new division of a billion-dollar international company that is listed on the New York Stock exchange. If you have a big enough dream, you can achieve anything :)
Good luck on your endeavor!
PS: One thing though.....it's NOT a get rich quick business....building a business takes time from 2-6 years...if you're not serious enough, then don't bother with the site. If you are serious and you're willing to work at it....check it out.

Well just looking at your request, your a well rounded person in the work force.
I have changed to different fields of industry 5 different times, each building upon each other.
The things you have to target is on companys "NEEDS". Look at companies in detail in the areas where you want to be located. Do some homework about the company business and how their doing and SEE if they have a NEED! Versus getting a cup out at the end of your hand. Sell yourself as a CAN-DO-PERSON. This approach will GET you more money too, don't cut yourself short. Your background of education and experience = SKILL, people can see those true features. Just don't BRAG though, be tactful !

While I am in school I have my own website and I have a online garage sale every other week. I gather up things no longer needed and resell for a reasonable price. Items that are in great condition but have not been used in sometime. My friends and family members give me items to sell instead of throwing them away.

Ever thought about a home based business (outside the box) requiring the phone and a laptop? Opp. to travel internationally; ethical; masterful business model; no selling. By the way, I am also a training consultant in the mortage industry...go figure!
